K.K. born in Germany, educated in cultural studies at University of Hildesheim, fine arts in Braunschweig at HbK and Museum studies at New York University on a DAAD scholarship. As a student she joined the renowned off-theatre group Mahagoni (later known as hirche/krumbein productions). She worked in the technical department of documenta 9 in Kassel, worked as a stage and costume designer at many theatres in Switzerland, Germany and Greece (such as ..see above) and for Schramm Film Berlin. Teaching at Züricher Hochschule der Künste for several years in the department style &design she developed modules to topics such as costume making as architecture, new death, clothing and the sense of social orientation, face reading-face hiding.
